Well, month
of July is a month of nutrition. Every year, we always celebrate it even in
elementary pupils and high school students. We formally celebrate it for many
years with such activities like nutri quiz, food fest, nutri jingle, cook fest,
mural painting, poster making, logo making, dish gardening and many more.
Healthy diet according to World Health Organization (WHO) helps protect against malnutrition in all its forms, as well as non-communicable diseases (NCDs), including diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and cancer.
It means
that healthy diet plays an important role in securing that we are free of any
diseases and it also implies that observing a healthy diet will avoid us from
malnutrition which is very common in some part of the world. It is important to
take care of our health in order for us to maximize our skills and talents.
Taking care of our health starts by creating a healthy diet plan and proper
mind set. It all starts with making goals about having a healthy
lifestyle and sticking to it.
There are
now different types of diseases that are present everywhere and can easily
catch by our bodies. We can protect ourselves from getting diseases by simply
starting a healthier way of living which means equipping ourselves about the
importance of eating right foods and avoiding those junk foods. Each of us is
guilty of eating unhealthy foods, starting right now we should learn to control
and choose wisely those foods we intake for our own sake. In the
long run, we will be the one who will be
benefited from eating healthy foods and choosing a healthy diet. Some
of the healthiest food are apples, avocados, bananas, blueberries, oranges,
strawberries or in general eating fruits and vegetables. Some really
have a big problem when it comes to feeding themselves with
vegetables like eggplant, okra, and ampalaya, these are some of the most
nutritious vegetables available almost in every market. Make sure to eat clean
foods which mean those veggies and fruits that are fresh and organic
because fresh fruits and vegetables have more nutrients compared to
those that are not organically cultivated and staled.
Healthy diet is not all about eating healthy foods but also about accompanying
it with exercises. To achieve a perfect body and healthy mind we must also do
some exercises like going regularly to the gym. Achieving a healthy body should
not be expensive so if one can't afford a gym membership there's a lot of ways
to stay in shape. We can simply exercise at the comfort of our homes like
dancing, aerobics, zumba and even brisk walking and jogging outside. If school
or offices is just a few blocks away from your home then its better to just
walk aside from burning fats it is also economic. Being healthy is not hard
today since there are alot of videos or tutorials available online which we can
use and helpful like DIY gym equipments and using things that are available at
home. There are also working out plans we can find to fitness sites and blogs.
Not exercising is no longer an excuse since resources are almost in just a
click.
Creating a healthy diet plan is useless without sticking to it. The hardest part about being a healthy person is sticking to what is planned. We are good in making an ideal plan but its hard to stick to it making it as a habit. The key to a healthy lifestyle is a healthy mindset and clear achievable goals.
Good
nutrition is our first defence against disease and our source of energy to live
and be active. Nutritional problems caused by an inadequate diet can be of many
sorts, and when they affect a generation of youngsters, they can lower their
learning capacities, thus compromising their futures, perpetuating a
generational cycle of poverty and malnutrition, with severe consequences on
both individuals and nations. While young children are the most vulnerable to
malnutrition, the right to adequate food is universal and good nutrition is
essential for all. Problems of malnutrition –undernutrition, micronutrient
deficiencies and obesity – exist in all countries and cut across socio-economic
classes.
Emerging
challenges, such as climate change, environmental sustainability and rapid
technological shifts, are transforming food systems and
raising questions about how to feed a growing world population in sustainable
ways.
At the same time, uneven economic
growth, social and economic transformations and other factors are shaping food
systems and diets. As a result, the prevalence of overweight, obesity and
related non-communicable diseases are increasing while under nutrition and
micronutrient deficiencies persist.
As the
theme says FARMING IS THE WAY TO HARVEST GOOD NUTRITION. It says that we
should plant vegetables and fruits for a good nutrition. It also tells that we
should be more often eat healthy foods than the canned goods or processed foods
that wold often caused diseases like cancer, diabetes, kidney failure, liver
failure and others. So plant a exact nutrition with your heart for more crops,
So that we can eat more nutrition foods and we can also save our earth to plant
a trees to prevent flood in certain area. You must better to plant with care to
get a great nutrition foods so that we can eat also clean and neat nutritional
foods.
